PKSF has successfully implemented LAN with about 100 workstations and 3 Servers on Windows NT environment.Windows NT 4 Server Enterprise Edition is running on these servers.One of these Servers is Mail Server running MS Exchange Server 5.5. There are two Database Server running Oracle 8i and Oracle 8 Database Server.

MIS Software component has two parts:

(1) Off the self software and
(2) PKSF's integrated with POs.

(1). Off the self software mainly comprises financial and Personnel management system. PKSF has procured software modules for Accounts System,fixed assets,inventory management,Payroll & provident funds and Personnel Management System.These modules were customized for the use of PKSF. These were developed on Oracle 8 and Developer 2000 Release 2.

(2). PKSF MIS is developing for PKSF and POMIS is developing for POs. Five Pos will be selected to use the POMIS system on a pilot basis. The system is developing on Oracle 8i, Designer 6 and Developer 6.

PKSF will also develop a system to install the impact monitoring and evaluation Tool-kit, designed by BIDS. POs will gather data and these will be transferred to PKSF for processing centrally.
