To become indebted to unscrupulous money lenders); prevent them from selling valuable assets as well as enabling them to smooth out consumption. These funds are utilized in times of disaster or afterwards for restoration of livelihood, rehabilitation, urgent medical services, water and sanitation, and to meet emergency consumption needs. There was no disbursement by PKSF in FY 2009. Up to June 2009, PKSF disbursed BDT 51.8 Million of interest-free loan to 65 POs from its DMF.
